Lizzie Mole is an award-winning poet and artist and is the name and the rhymes behind The Original Poet. There are two main aspects to our offer.

A bespoke writing service where you can order an entirely original poem for someone you love. After completing a short survey about the recipient (s) Lizzie will personally write a rhyming poem for you. After you have approved the words, your poem will be turned into a stunning foiled and framed artwork, beautifully gift-wrapped and ready to give.

If you would prefer to present your poem yourself, we are happy to send the poem as an emailed Word document instead of a framed piece, simply choose this option when ordering.

We also offer a range of 'Off-the shelf' poem prints ready to order straightaway. All poems and artwork is the copyright of Lizzie Mole and may not be used (either wholly or in part) without express permission.

 

Yes, you can cancel your order for an 'off-the-shelf' poem print at any time before it is despatched. Simply send an email to hello@theoriginalpoet.com with 'Order Cancellation' in the subject line and we'll cancel it for you.

Please note that we are unable to cancel orders for 'Original Poem Commissions' after we have received your completed questionnaire. Due to the entirely bespoke nature of this service,  after this time, writing may already be underway, which represents significant time and work.

Your order will be sent via Royal Mail or a parcel courier with tracking information available at the point of despatch.

All of our 'Original Poem commissions' are sent with free shipping.

Products from our 'Off-the-shelf 'Poem Collection are subject to shipping charges and are sent via Royal Mail tracked services.

The shipping cost for 'Print only' orders is £3.95

The cost for shipping framed items is £6.95 per frame ordered.

You may return your order for a poem print within 30 days of ordering. Please note that this only applies to off-the-shelf items from our existing poem collections. Due to the individual nature of our service, we are unable to accept returns for any original bespoke order.

Please return your order in the original packaging where possible and ship with a reliable carrier. We highly recommend that you retain proof of postage for any returned item(s) as we are unable to process a refund for goods that fail to reach us.

We cannot refund return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or damaged on arrival.

We cannot offer goods in exchange for those you return, only replacements if damaged. If you would like an alternative item, please place a new order.
